The company reported operating revenue of AUD 353.11 million for FY24, marking a 13.26% YoY increase from the previous year (AUD 311.77 million). The growth was driven by higher sales from licenses, support and maintenance, services, and other products.
Despite operating revenue growth, HSN's net profit after tax (NPAT) saw a significant decrease of 50.78% YoY, dropping to AUD 21.06 million from AUD 42.80 million in FY23. The decline was attributed to higher employee benefits, increased hardware and software costs, and finance charges on lease liabilities.
Strategic Business Update
HSN secured a notable five-year agreement with Virgin Media Limited (VMO2) valued at approximately AUD 50 million. The agreement aims to licence HSN’s cloud-native Suite for Communications, Technology & Media.
The company will release its half-year results to the ASX on 19 February 2025.
Outlook
HSN expects FY25 revenue to range between AUD 398 million and AUD 405 million. For FY25, the company also forecasts underlying EBITDA to range from AUD 92 million to AUD 101 million, with cash EBITDA expected between AUD 76 million and AUD 85 million.
In 2HFY25, the company expects to recognise nearly AUD15m of VMO2 licence revenue upfront.
