Indices
Indices are a measure of statistical change in the pricing of a group of securities. Typically, index represents a hypothetical portfolio with a group of underlying member securities that are selected based on a certain criterion (e.g. - financial, energy, mining, market capitalization). Some of the prominent Australian indices are S&P/ASX 20, S&P/ASX 200, All Ordinaries.
