Wanchain

Wanchain crypto is one of the most popular cryptocurrencies at Easy Crypto this week. Currently, the crypto is priced at NZ$0.733416, and is up by 15.8% in the last 24 hours.

Launched in 2017, Wanchain is a distributed ledger and makes use of the proof-of-stake mechanism. It aims to develop the ultimate decentralised banking solution and establish the infrastructure that enables cross-chain integration with all the top public as well as private blockchains.

Further, the platform does not rely on third parties to confirm or authenticate transactions, and its protocol processes applications through smart contracts, securely and autonomously, i.e., its secret-sharing technology manages accounts autonomously.

It is noted that it has a circulating supply of over 192 million WAN coins, while the maximum supply is 210 million.

Waves

Another crypto that is hugely sought-after by crypto lovers is Waves, whose native token is also known as WAVES. At the time of writing, Waves was priced at NZ$32.31, with a decline of 8.6% in the last 24 hours.

Created in 2016 by Alexander Ivanov, a Ukraine-born scientist, Waves is a multi-purpose blockchain platform that makes use of WavesNG, which is a modified proof-of-stake algorithm.

It aims to improvise early blockchain platforms and products and aspires to be eco-friendly with a minimal carbon footprint.

The platform supports various DApps and smart contracts and delivers extremely fast experiences with extremely low costs.

Currently, there are nearly 107 million WAVES coins in circulation, while the maximum supply is not available.
