Viking Mines Ltd (ASX:VKA) has completed the divestment of its Riverina East Gold Project to ASX-Listed First Au Limited, marking the completion of the transaction announced on 29 June 2026. The project comprises 11 mineral licences and an exploration licence application.

TheProject extends across approximately 255km in Western Australia's goldfields, positioned around 50 kilometres west of Menzies. The tenure is located immediately north of Ora Banda Mining's Riverina Gold Mine, with access to existing infrastructure.

Historic Gold Mine Forms Part of the Asset Package

Among the project's assets is the First Hit Gold Mine, which has recorded historical production of approximately 30,000 ounces of gold at an average grade of 7.7g/t Au.

The project also includes the Bifrost mineralisation area, which forms part of the broader exploration tenure transferred to First Au under the completed transaction. This area is considered prospective for gold.

Reflecting on the acquisition, First Aus Executive Chairman, Daniel Raihani commented: The Riverina East Gold Project acquisition is consistent with First Aus strategic ambition to become a geologically driven West Australian gold exploration and development company. Along with the Barlee and Gimlet Gold Projects, we are building a portfolio of gold assets in proven mineral provinces.

The completion of the Riverina East Gold Project divestment concludes the agreement between Viking Mines and First Au, transferring the project's licences and associated interests in line with the previously announced transaction terms. The transaction enables Viking Mines to sharpen its focus on the flagship Linka Tungsten Project in Nevada, USA, where preparations for the maiden RC drilling programme are well underway. The drill rig has been mobilised and travelling to site, while field teams complete drill pad construction. Drilling is expected to begin soon after the rig's arrival.

VKA shares traded at AUD 0.010 per share on 24 July 2026.
