Highlights
- Bitgert’s “zero” gas fee claim could be its biggest highlight in the blockchain network space
- The BRISE token was launched much later as compared to ETH, arguably its biggest competitor
- BRISE in 2022 has more or less been in the green, a performance that is better than ETH
Is the cryptoverse all about Bitcoin, Ether, and Dogecoin? Have you heard of so-called ‘Ethereum-killer’ tokens? These include Solana and Cardano, which are also the two blockchain networks that claim an edge over Ethereum.
Solana is a major token, thanks to its high market cap. But new tokens linked to emerging blockchains are also piquing the interest of crypto enthusiasts. One of these is the BRISE token, which is native to the wider Bitgert ecosystem.
Let’s explore more.
What is Bitgert?
A blockchain network, Bitgert claims it doesn’t charge any gas fee on usage. By this measure, Bitgert seems to be projecting itself as the most cost-effective alternative to Ethereum. Besides, Bitgert states that more than 100,000 transactions can be handled every second.
It can be used to deploy decentralised solutions like DeFi protocols, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and Web3 projects. The network, it is claimed, supports smart contracts. Such contracts are deployed on a decentralised network, and it is said that they need no third-party oversight. Bitgert also provides wallet services, alongside staking.

BRISE token
The BRISE Chain is being projected as one of the services by Bitgert. The native in-house cryptocurrency is also named BRISE.
The BRISE token is a “deflationary” crypto. It is claimed that BRISE Swap competes with PancakeSwap in providing services to the projects wanting to launch new tokens.
BRISE token price
BRISE is a new entrant, both as a blockchain network and a native token. It did not feature in top assets, as of writing. Following the launch of the BRISE token in mid-2021, a sharp upward movement came only in late October.
BRISE is one of those limited number of cryptoassets that have traded largely in the green this year. In early March, a steep rally was noticed in its price. But this has been followed by volatility, presumably in the wake of events like a correction in the cryptoverse in early May.
The price as of writing was nearly US$0.0000006, which makes BRISE an extremely low-priced token.

Bottom line
BRISE is a part of the Bitgert ecosystem. The biggest highlight of Bitgert is its claim of “zero” gas fee. Is this enough to compete with large-cap blockchain networks like Ethereum? Answer to this, and a BRISE crypto price prediction can both be very speculative.
