- The Company has reported positive results from agronomic tests with Pampafos® on a variety of commercial crops over the past two years.
The latest set of results from agronomic tests on corn crops has boosted the confidence of Aguia Resources Limited (ASX:AGR) in the competitive performance of Pampafos®, the Direct Application Natural Fertiliser from the Três Estradas Phosphate Project (TEPP).
The Company has been undertaking DANF agronomic tests of Pampafos® by independent agronomists since late 2019.
The latest results released in early June 2022 reinforce that AGR’s natural phosphate Pampafos® product continues to deliver agronomic efficiency across all significant commercial crops. Moreover, this is the second time for the corn crop.

Excellent corn productivity results
The application of Pampafos® to corn crop resulted in a yield of 95% of the yield achieved by using the conventional Triple Superphosphate (TSP) in the same P2O5 dosage at the Eldorado do Sul Agronomic Station.
The corn productivity results using Pampafos® in a dosage of 125 kg/ha of P2O5 exceeded the productivity achieved using conventional TSP in the same dosage at Pelotas Agronomic Station.

AGR believes that the wide reach of its testing regime throughout the state would enable more farmers to visit and see the first-hand efficiency of its product. In addition to the favourable performance of its DANF phosphate product, growers will also have ongoing environmental benefits of enhanced soil quality.
Tests in partnership with UFRGS and UFPel
The latest agronomic tests on corn crops were undertaken at the Agronomic Stations of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel).
The tests determined the level of efficiency the P-nutrient delivered to the soil as well as to the crop.
Under both tests, the corn was seeded in late October 2021 and harvested in late March 2022. The tests were undertaken in areas where no previous cultivation had taken place.

During testing, Pampafos® and TSP were spread over the soil surface and then incorporated into the soil using the direct drilling method. The production of corn crop from each test was calculated by harvesting individually every treatment area and weighing the grains to calculate the yield in kilograms per hectare (kg/ha).
