In a boost to its leadership and advisory team, Zenith Minerals Limited (ASX:ZNC) has announced the appointment of its new Non-Executive Director.
Ms. Emma Scotney joined ZNC’s Board on 5 May 2022. The appointment comes within a week of the appointment of ZNC’s new Executive Chairman, Mr. David Ledger. Mr. Ledger took charge as the company’s new Executive Chairman on 2 May 2022.

Latest additions to unlock true potential of portfolio assets
New board addition - Ms Scotney is a seasoned Business Advisor and Corporate Lawyer with over 25 years of combined experience across the property, agricultural and mining industries. She provides in-house legal counselling to an ASX-listed global mining technology company, advising on corporate and commercial matters, including M&A and the corporate governance policy.
Currently, she is also a Non-Executive Director of ASX-listed Minerals 260 Limited (ASX:MI6) and Commissioner of the Insurance Commission of Western Australia. She will be considered as an independent Director at Zenith.

New Executive Chairman at Zenith - Mr. David Ledger is a seasoned investment banking professional with an experience of over 35 years in the United Kingdom and Australia. In the past, Mr. Ledger has served as Executive Director of a major European Bank besides advising corporate and institutional clients. At present, he works in his own advisory firm, which works in multiple sectors.

On new appointments, Zenith’s Managing Director Mr. Michael Clifford, said –
“As the Company advances its lithium joint venture with EV Metals Group and looks to demerge its base metal and gold assets into one or more new companies to be listed on the ASX, they bring strong commercial skills, understanding of capital markets and corporate governance that will add materially to the skillset and diversity on our Board.”
Zenith Minerals envisions maximising shareholder value by superior project generation and exploration activities. With EV Metals as its JV partner, Zenith intends to focus on battery metals projects in the future, while the existing precious and base metals projects are planned to be demerged into one or more entities to be listed on the ASX.

ZNC last traded at AU$$0.34 a share with a market capitalisation of AU$137.56 million.
