Fresnillo Plc (LON: FRES) has released its third-quarter production report for the period ended 30 September 2020.
- The quarterly attributable silver production declined by 2.3 per cent to13.3 moz (including Silverstream) as compared to the second quarter. The decline was led by a lower ore grade and volume of ore processed at Fresnillo.
- The lower overall speed of recovery and ore grade at both Herradura and Noche Buena resulted in quarterly attributable gold production declining by 6.3 per cent from the 2Q 2020 to 172.7 koz.
- The quarterly attributable by-product lead and zinc production also shrank by 6.4 per cent and 1.5 per cent, respectively as compared to the previous quarter.
- On 21 October 2020, the stocks of the company slumped by 4.20% from the previous closing, trading at GBX 1,277.00 at 09:22 AM GMT+1.
