Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has removed the much-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 game from the PlayStation Store. The company is now offering refunds to the customers who had purchased the game through its online stores. It happened just a week after the launch (10 December 2020) of the game, which received mixed reviews from the users. Several complained that they faced problems while running the games on the last-generation PS4 consoles.

Commenting on the development, SIE tweeted that the company would provide a complete refund to all the customers who had purchased the game via PlayStation Store and wanted a refund. The company also shared a link for its customers to initiate the refund process. It said that full refund to the customers would be based on the payment method and financial institution.

The company had already offered refund to unsatisfied customers who reported bugs. On Friday, the official Cyberpunk 2077 account tweeted that it had decided to suspend the digital distribution of Cyberpunk 2077 on a temporary basis on the PlayStation Store, after a discussion was held with PlayStation.

It also announced that the customers who had already purchased the game would continue to get support and updates from the company. The physical versions of Cyberpunk 2077 can still be purchased by the gamers online and in brick-and-mortar stores.
