Apple is all set for the launch of its much-hyped grand event scheduled on 14 September. The Apple’s fall event, titled California Streaming, will be hosted virtually and is highly expected to unveil four new iPhone models-- iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The event will take place on 14 September at 1 pm ET/ 10 am PT. Other than iPhone 13, the tech behemoth may also unveil the new Apple Watch and AirPods.

Where to watch iPhone 13 launch live streaming

The iPhone 13 launch event will be streamed by Apple on its official events page. Viewers can also watch the event on Mac, iPhone, iPad, Windows PC, Apple TV app, or YouTube.

iPhone 13 launch

According to media reports, iPhone 13 will be launched in four different models -- iPhone 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max. However, the sizes may not be changed, with 5.4-inch for the iPhone 13 mini, 6.1-inch for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro and 6.7-inch for the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

In his recent Power On newsletter, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman said that the phone design would be similar to iPhone12 series. The only change expected is iPhone 13 having a smaller notch.

The “pro” models may also come with faster 120Hz displays and a faster A15 processor. There is little information on the price and exact retail availability.

Apple Watch Series 7

Apple Watch may be unveiled with a flatter edge design similar to that of iPad Pro and iPhone 12. It would increase the case size from 40 mm and 44 mm to 41 mm and 45 mm, respectively. The new watch series may also get a significant boost in battery life, along with a faster processor. Experts don’t expect any new health features in the watch.

AirPods 3

Apple is expected to announce the launch of third generation AirPods in the event. They may be similar to AirPods Pro, but without the silicone eartips. The latest upgrade to the device is expected to be the most significant in the last two years.

New software updates

The company, as every year, is expected to release iOS 15, iPadOS 15, watchOS 8, and tvOS 15, days before the new iPhone models going out for sale.

Bottom Line

Apple’s fall event is scheduled at a time when coronavirus has created challenges for most corporations worldwide. However, Apple has weathered the pandemic remarkably well so far. It would be closely tracked how its money-spinning products perform going ahead.
