Negative return

  • Updated on
Negative return occurs when the return from the money invested in a project or business is less than the total amount invested in the same during a specific period of time. It often occurs in the early years of the business since the company utilises its funds to get the business running thereby incurring financial loss or lower returns on a particular investment.
