Cogeco (TSX:CCA) to buy Quebec’s Derytelecom for $405 M. | Kalkine Market Update CA |

Through this acquisition, Cogeco Communications expects to add about 100,000 cable and internet customers in Quebec, as per media reports.

With this transaction, it's estimated about $3 million in operational savings and $40million of tax benefits will be achieved.

Refunds will be issued in the form of payment, instead of credits issued by airlines for future flights.

Lowest priced tickets will also be offered a refund if the flight is canceled. With this move, the company looks at reinstating the practice to align with the booking conditions and regulatory tariffs that were in place prior to Covid-19.
