Microba (ASX:MAP) seals deal with nib-backed Midnight Health for Vidality

Microba Life Sciences Limited (ASX:MAP) is all set to roll out a world-first subscription-based personalised consumer health service called Vidality.

In a significant development, the company joined hands with Midnight Health, a digital healthcare firm backed by nib Holdings Limited (ASX:NHF), concerning Vidality.

Microba is a precision microbiome company focused on the discovery and development of novel therapeutics for major chronic diseases and delivering gut microbiome testing services on a global basis. The company is committed to enhancing human health with world-leading technology for measuring the human gut microbiome.

Midnight Health has a patient-led digital platform through which the firm delivers innovative online healthcare solutions.

Vidality: Bringing science and personalisation to healthcare industry

The agreement has been signed after a successful pilot focused on testing the service model and product offering. The pilot further exhibited Microba’s scalable technology and potential to deliver evidence-based gut health solutions.

The partnership will aid in providing a tailored health service to the Australian consumer market.  

The agreement, which is for an initial period of three years, underlies the following:

The model will be delivered through trained and registered pharmacists. It will be a personalised, pharmacy-integrated service model, bringing a level of science and personalisation to an industry which generally provides one-size-fits-all solutions to its customers.

CEO of Midnight Health, Nic Blair, highlighted the strong demand for innovative online and personalised healthcare solutions. The firm already caters to over 13,000 subscribers across its existing brands with strong month-on-month growth. Many of its customers are looking for gut health solutions, Blair added.
