The manufacturing activities in the United states took a hit against the market expectations; however, increased slightly in October 2019 against the previous month.

  • The ISM Manufacturing Purchasing Manager Index stood at 48.3 for October 2019 against the market expectations of 49.0.
  • The index value remained above the previous month value of 47.8; however, the ISM Manufacturing Purchasing Manager Index in the United States stood below the mean of 50.0 for the second month in a row.
