Information providers IHS Markit Ltd. (NYSE: INFO) and FactSet Research Systems Inc. (NYSE: FDS) on Tuesday reported considerable revenue growth in their latest quarters.
However, the INFO stock fell 2.80% to US$119.22, while the FDS stock rose 3.82% to US$383.23 at around 9:55 am ET after they declared their results before the opening bell.

IHS Markit is a London-based data provider for the financial market and government agencies.
The company's revenue rose around 10% YoY to US$1.18 billion in Q3, FY21. The net income attributable to the company was US$161.3 million, compared to a net income of US$162.9 million in the year-ago quarter. Its operating income came in at US$290.8 million, as compared to US$261.2 million in the previous year's same quarter.

The adjusted EBITDA was US$515.6 million against US$486.2 million in Q3, FY20. The cash flow from operations was US$420.7 million against US$402.8 million in the year-ago quarter.
In addition, the adjusted EPS was US$0.85 in Q3, FY21, against US$0.77 in the year-ago quarter.
IHS Markit has a market cap of US$47.95 billion, while the P/E and the forward P/E one-year ratios are 77.12 and 45.77, respectively. Its EPS is US$1.56. The stock grew 34.92 percent YTD.

FactSet is a Connecticut-based technology and data company. It provides integrated financial information and analytic applications for the global investment industry.
On a GAAP basis, the company's revenue increased by 7.4 percent YoY to US$411.89 million in Q4, FY21. Its operating income was US$119.17 million, representing an increase of 20.9 percent from the year-ago quarter.
The company's net income came in at US$101.06 million, or US$2.63 per diluted share, compared to a net income of US$89.07 million, or US$2.29 per diluted share in Q4, FY20.

For the full fiscal 2021, the company's revenue came in at US$1.59 billion, compared to US$1.49 billion in the previous year.
The firm now expects its GAAP revenue to be between US$1.70 billion and US$1.72 billion in FY2022. It expects its GAAP diluted EPS to be between US$11.60 and US$11.90 for FY22.
Its market cap is US$14.56 billion, while the P/E and the forward P/E one-year ratios are 38.44 and 33.47, respectively. The EPS is US$10.03. The FDS stock jumped 11.65 percent YTD.
