A Reuters source says he’s created a new division at Meta - dubbed Superintelligence Labs - to lead the effort. That’s after Meta’s latest AI model - Llama 4 - got a poor reception. Zuckerberg hopes the new unit will create new cash flows from products including smart glasses.

Apple could use models from Anthropic or OpenAI to power an AI version of its Siri digital assistant. That’s according to reports by Bloomberg. It says talks are at an early stage, with no decision made. But Apple appears to be struggling with the new tech, having put back AI upgrades for Siri until next year. Bots have come to Wimbledon.

The tennis tournament has replaced its famous line judges with AI systems that can determine if a shot is in or out. World number one Jannik Sinner welcomed the move, saying the modern game was so fast that humans couldn’t make good calls. Soccer is getting in on the new tech too. The English Premier League has struck a deal with Microsoft to use AI in its digital platforms.

The tech giant’s Copilot digital assistant will pull data from 30 seasons of stats, 300,000 articles and 9,000 videos. Spain’s LaLiga already uses AI in match analysis and media production. And Nvidia notched another record. Its shares hit an all-time high after one analyst predicted the chipmaker was set to ride a “golden wave” of AI adoption. The rise took its value to $3.76 trillion - overtaking Microsoft as the world’s most valuable firm.
