Royal Mail Plc (LON: RMG) has released its results for the half-year ended 27 September 2020.

  • Reported revenue of the company for the period increased by 9.8 per cent to £5,671 million as compared to £5,166 million for the same period last year.
  • The company’s revenue growth was led by strong parcel growth at both Royal Mail and GLS, and the performance reflects opportunity from a shift in business mix.
  • The company, however, reported an operating loss of £20 million as compared to £61 profit reported for the 26 weeks ended 29 September 2019.
  • On 19 November 2020, the stocks of the company surged by 6.64% from its previous closing, hovering at around GBX 305.00 at 08:18 AM GMT+1.
