Should Australia be worried over 4th Wave?
In last 7 days, Australia recorded a number of COVID-19 cases. NSW recorded 858 new cases, whereas Victoria recorded 2,401 cases.
Although Australia’s vaccination program is on right track, with 85.8% of Aussies over the age of 16 being fully vaccinated, it doesn’t guarantee safety.
As per media, looking at the European surge, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has warned that 500,000 more deaths can be recorded by March if immediate action is not taken.
This warning came after several countries reported record-high new cases. Hence, the fourth wave in the US and Europe is a dangerous threat to the world and requires immediate action.
