Right from social distancing to wearing masks, sanitising hands regularly, and travelling with shields and PPE kits, that is what air travel looked like. Similarly, no-quarantine flights have been operating from New Zealand to Melbourne and Sydney.
The requisite for the same, however, is the declaration by the passenger that the person has been staying in NZ for the past 14 days.
As for those who do not follow the current Safe Travel Zone rules, they are eligible to catch only the quarantine flights.

Effort to make travel easier for passengers
Leanne Geraghty, Chief Customer and Sales Officer for Air New Zealand (NZX:AIR) revealed that people beginning their travel from New Zealand would not have the option of booking quarantine flights. Among the five flights operating between Auckland and Brisbane in a week, 3 shall be non-quarantine, while 2 will be quarantine type.
She further revealed that they have worked with different national agencies to ensure that there were measures being taken for the health and safety of passengers.
Passengers that plan to travel beyond the state of Queensland will have to check the quarantine guidelines for further information on whether they are exempted from quarantine or not.
However, if one is travelling from Queensland to New Zealand, there is going to be a 14-day isolation to look forward to. In these uncertain times, government authorities across the globe are trying to make lives of people easier whilst also maintaining the utmost safety standards.
