Summary

  • Tesla is set to bring its Cybertruck into the market, boasting unconventional sharp trapezoid design without door handles.
  • While Tesla's all-electric SUV and sedan are already witnessing strong popularity, Cybertruck will mark the Company's entry into the utility truck division.
  • Cybertruck can accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than three seconds and up to 500 miles of range.

To say that nothing can quench customer desire for innovation would be erroneous, especially when Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) has been introducing cutting-edge technology and vehicles way beyond the current time.

Tesla's Cybertruck, a utility truck, is tugging on the heartstrings of modern-day customers while the vehicle boasts of the performance of a sports car. This is expected to further power the Company's pursuit to drive radical innovation in the electric vehicle space settings.

Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk has announced that the Company's upcoming Cybertruck is doing away with the conventional door handles and would instead recognise the owners to open the door.

Coming on the heels of successful launches of all-electric Tesla mainline, including Model 3, S, X, and Y, Cybertruck has worldwide interest even before the vehicle has hit the market. If successful, the new design concept put forth by Tesla can get the revolution cracking in the automotive industry, with the consumers left to change the whole perception of how they travel on the road. Meanwhile, how other automobile manufacturers adapt their car lines would be another exciting thing to watch.

An overview of Cybertruck Design

The unconventional design concept adopted by Tesla Cybertruck has the final design of sharp trapezoid, as showcased earlier.

During the presentation, Elon Musk indicated that the Cybertruck design might be too polarizing, with the vehicle looking more like a futuristic product from another world. Nevertheless, the Company has decided to keep the design similar to show with meagre changes. It would probably be the first time when such a design would hit the road in recent history.
