Those who are not members of Amazon Prime can sign up for a 30-day free trial and shop. This year has been special as the highest number of products are available on discounts in the seven-year history of Amazon Prime sales. Besides, the event was preponed to boost sales.

Amazon had sold products worth US$104 billion on Prime Day last year, up 45.2% from the figure in 2019. It also had reported a higher number of people visiting the site compared to the previous year.

However, Amazon will face tough competition this year as many e-commerce retailers also offering discounts and promotions on the same days. Bed, Bath & Beyond (BBBYO), Target Corp. (TGT.N), Macy’s Inc (MN), Kohl’s Inc. (KSS), Walmart Inc. (WMT) are also offering sales on June 21 and 22 like AMZN. People who are not a fan of AMZN can opt for these options.

On the same days as Prime Day, Kohl's Wow Deals will offer discounts and cashback on household goods, beauty, and fashion apparel. Also, Macy's Epic Specials coincides, with Amazon's Prime Day and offering huge discounts on makeup, cookware, perfume, skincare, air fryer, and other products.

Walmart’s sale from June 20-23 offers electronics, home, toys, beauty, and fashion products at discounted rates. Bed, Bath & Beyond has sales on June 20-22 and offers same-day delivery. Products like Crux appliances, Ugg Bedding, and vacuums have more than 40% discounts.
