Highlights

  • Soldate is a decentralised dating platform built on the Solana network. It’s the first dating platform of it’s kind and provides a secure platform for its users
  • SolDate aims to turn community involvement into a large force that supports the development of the entire Blockchain space
  • The native token of SolDate is the DATE token which launched on September 20 and currently sits at US$0.159052

This year has seen the Solana platform grow in leaps and bounds as it has gained increased popularity due to scalability issues surrounding the popular Ethereum network.

As delays surround Ethereum’s upgrade, which is now predicted for completion in late 2022, users are flocking to similar alternatives like Cardano and Solana.

Although Ethereum’s network hosts the most decentralised applications - otherwise known as DApps – Solana boasts quite a number of applications ranging from decentralised finance (DeFi) to NFTs.

One of the most recent projects to launch on the Solana platform is something one might not normally associate with digital currency – dating. That’s right. Solana has become the first blockchain to play love matchmaker, and its timing couldn’t be more perfect given the cultural shift which has seen people worldwide, in search of love, confined to their homes amidst the enforced lockdowns due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

What is Soldate?

Online dating is nothing new. In fact, it’s as old as the world wide web itself.

From eHarmony to rsvp, the internet has played Cupid for decades now. And since the introduction of smartphones, apps like Tinder (for better or worse) have brought strangers together and has probably kept the STD medication industry in diamonds and furs.

Soldate is a decentralised dating platform built on the Solana network. It’s the first dating platform of it’s kind and provides a secure platform where one can search for that special somebody.

The nature of blockchain technology ensures total security and protection for users against privacy violations.

How Does SolDate Work?

SolDate aims to turn community involvement into a large force that supports the development of the entire Blockchain space.

According to the official SolDate website, SolDate will efficiently use NFTs as well as its native utility token '$DATE' to help people discover blockchain use cases in a fun and simple way.

Its Twitter description states: “Make love happen on a blockchain”.

Welcome to 21st century romance.

DATE Token

The native token of SolDate is the DATE token which launched on September 20, 2021 with an initial price of US$0.137760.

It quickly rose to a price of US$0.205075 and currently sits at US$0.1349 as of September 22 at 10:35 AM AEST, according to CoinGecko.

The DATE token market cap is unknown at this time but it has a max coin supply of 100,000,000 coins.
