As per the agreement, the Floki Inu logo would be displayed on the back of Napoli players’ jerseys. Also, the crypto’s logo would be exhibited across LED signage around the pitch during league matches, as well as on other promotional material.

What is the need for this partnership?

Floki Inu aims to become the most famous and the most used cryptocurrency across the globe. Hence, it has entered into a partnership with one of the top professional soccer teams of Italy, with its fan base giving a huge boost to the meme coin’s popularity, cites the marketing department of Floki Inu.

Moreover, both SSC Napoli and the meme token have common values and aspirations for growth.

Other partnerships with professional sports

The crypto has also managed to secure deals with other football clubs like Spanish La Liga’s Cádiz and India’s Kerala Blasters.

It appears that Floki Inu is aggressively going after mainstream sporting partnerships in search of wider adoption.

FLOKI’s price rise since its inception

Launched in June this year, Floki Inu became another dog-themed token, apart from Dogecoin and Shiba Inu to foray into the crypto market, aspiring to surpass its meme-based peers and become the best-known meme coin across the globe.

Floki Inu, which was initially listed for millionths of a cent, witnessed a considerable price rise within a few months of its launch.

It is noted that in August 2021, FLOKI was priced at US$0.00000002. It ascended to US$0.00006 in late October and reached an all-time high at US$0.000405 on November 4.

Floki Inu draws London authorities’ ire

However, the canine-themed coin hasn’t had a smooth sailing always. Some time ago, Floki Inu caught the attention of the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), the UK's advertising watchdog, for displaying posters throughout London’s subway and on its double-decker buses.

The agency is reviewing this to assess if the crypto has violated any of the firm's rules or not.

FLOKI’s future projects

Well, Floki Inu is not discouraged by this incident. It is currently working on projects like designing an NFT gaming metaverse, developing a fully functional NFT and merchandise marketplace, and building a content education platform, thereby creating interest and excitement among its investors.

Bottom Line

Floki Inu is continuously working on giving a major marketing push to its prices. By partnering with major sports projects for wider adoption and reach, the crypto is hopeful to give a significant boost to its token’s value.
