It’s been almost two years since we have been fighting one of the deadliest pandemics witnessed by man. However, in this battle, we shouldn’t negate humanity’s biggest fight: climate change. It has been years, since we have realised that we need to decrease carbon emissions to preserve Earth’s healthy environment. However, due to the rising capitalist needs across countries, the measures taken to curb the emissions have been more or less inefficient.

2022 could be optimistic for the overall issue of climate change as several important events lay ahead in the following months. These events are significant to collectively promise and work towards reducing emissions and adapting to green infrastructure.

The event will be hosted by the UAE government in collaboration with the UN. The focus of the climate week will be to discuss the regional climate change crisis, mitigation strategies to recover from losses occurred due to climate change and the pandemic, and ways of building climate-resilient economies.

Thus, the upcoming conference will urge world leaders, politicians, industry experts to come together and fund ways of protecting oceans and life in it.

  • UN Climate Change Conference

The year ends with the conference that we all wait for. The COP27 will be in November. This year’s conference will aim at escalating global climate talks, action against climate change and will look upon how climate change is affecting Africa, its population, and its land.
