Direct Market Access

  • Updated on

The Direct Market Access facility allows traders to submit sell or buy orders to the order book of a stock exchange directly for execution. Such facility is frequently owned by sell side firms and requires a complex technology infrastructure. DMA allows traders to observe various prices of distinct orders and place their own order accordingly, evading intermediaries.
