- Resolution Minerals brings in expert geologist for Horse Heaven project
- Strong geological parallels identified with the advanced Stibnite deposit
- Project aligns with US push for secure domestic supply of critical metals
Resolution Minerals (ASX:RML) has welcomed experienced geologist Austin Zinsser as lead consulting geologist to support the advancement of its Horse Heaven Antimony-Gold-Silver-Tungsten Project, strategically located in Idaho, USA. With over 15 years of geological experience, including more than a decade at the neighboring Stibnite Gold Project, Zinsser adds valuable regional expertise and technical depth to the project.
The Horse Heaven project is positioned adjacent to Perpetua Resources’ federally approved Stibnite Gold and Antimony Project, which boasts a US$2 billion valuation. Zinsser, having contributed significantly to exploration efforts in this mining district, has been familiar with Horse Heaven since 2022 in a consulting capacity. His insights into structural geology and mineralization controls are expected to greatly assist in the successful execution of Resolution’s maiden exploration program.
Zinsser highlighted the striking geological similarities between Horse Heaven and Stibnite, which he believes signal a strong potential for discovery. According to him, early indicators at Horse Heaven reflect a promising foundation for what could evolve into a significant critical metals deposit. He noted that the structural controls and overprinting relationships observed mirror those found at the more advanced Stibnite site — a recognized analog for the current development plans.
With antimony and tungsten identified as mission-critical resources for US national security, Resolution Minerals is strategically positioning Horse Heaven within the broader context of the United States’ urgent push to establish domestic supply chains. As these minerals play an essential role in defense, energy, and technology applications, the company is seeking government support to fast-track the development of the project under the US critical minerals strategy.
The Horse Heaven property includes historically productive mining sites and spans structurally controlled corridors exhibiting strong mineralization. This aligns well with RML’s exploration model, further supported by Zinsser’s deep knowledge of the Yellow Pine Mining District’s geological framework.
While Resolution Minerals is not part of the ASX 200, its exploration efforts are gaining investor interest due to growing recognition of the value and strategic importance of critical metals in the global resource landscape.
By leveraging proven geological analogues and securing domain expertise, Resolution Minerals is well-placed to advance the Horse Heaven project into a standout North American critical minerals asset.
