The benchmark index S&P/ASX200 was down nearly 0.77% on 7 June 2022 at AEST 12 PM. The index was also lower on a 52-week basis, dropping approximately 1.22%.
Aligning with this, the ASX All Ordinaries was also down by nearly 1.46% on a one-year basis. However, some stocks in the All Ordinaries Index were thriving well, either touching or trading very close to their 52-week high levels. Let us have a look at a few of such stocks.

Worley offers professional project and asset services in the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors.
Last month, the company inked four major contracts.
- Under a contract with Heartwell Renewables LLC, Worley will cater to a US-based greenfield renewable diesel plant with detailed and field engineering services.
- Worley signed a contract with Borouge 4 LLC for the fourth expansion of the latter’s Ruwais integrated polyolefins complex inthe UAE.
- Worley joined hands with Avantium Renewable Polymers to deliver engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for its flagship facility in Delfzijl, the Netherlands.
- The company secured an engineering and procurement (EP) services contract from Shell Offshore Inc. to support five of its assets in the Gulf of Mexico, the US, for three years.
Viva Energy Group Limited (ASX:VEA)
Viva Energy caters to nearly a quarter of Australia’s liquid fuel requirements. Recently, the company acquired LyondellBasell Australia (LBA), a national polymer manufacturer and distributor.
The Australia’s only polypropylene manufacturer supplies the Australian and New Zealand markets with raw materials used to produce various plastic products. The firm caters to over 60 customers across many countries.
In the quarter ended 31 Mar 2022, the company’s total group volumes increased by 9% compared to the previous corresponding quarter (pcp), backed by strong diesel sales within the commercial businesses.
Ampol Limited, a leader in transport fuel, supplies Australia’s largest branded petrol and convenience network and refining, importing, and marketing fuels and lubricants.
Last month, the company acquired Z Energy Limited through its wholly owned subsidiary Ampol Holdings NZ Limited.
Ampol has pledged to invest NZ$125 million from FY2023 to FY2028 to assist New Zealand’s energy transition. The investment will be directed towards e-mobility solutions, infrastructure to support the distribution of biofuels and other terminal infrastructure.

Monadelphous Group Limited (ASX:MND)
Monadelphous Group is a leading Australian engineering group offering construction, maintenance and industrial services to the resources, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
Major highlights for the half-year ended 31 Dec 2021:
- Revenue of AU$1.065 billion, up 12.3% compared to pcp. Maintenance and industrial services division achieved a record half-year revenue.
- Net profit after tax stood at AU$30.1 million, up 17.7% compared to pcp.
- Secured new contracts and contract extensions worth about AU$860 million since the beginning of the period across the resources, energy, infrastructure, and international markets.
- Paid an interim dividend of 24 cents per share, fully franked, in March 2022.
In April, the company announced to have secured AU$230 million worth of new contracts and contract extensions in the Australian and PNG energy and resources space.
