Amcor Plc (ASX:AMC) 

The shares of Amcor Plc (ASX:AMC) closed trading 1.233% higher at AU$18.06 per share on the ASX today (12 May). Approximately 4.2 million shares of Amcor were traded throughout the entire trading session on the ASX today.

The share price of Amcor has gained approximately 16% on the ASX over the past 12 months. On the other hand, Amcor’s year-to-date share price also gained over 8% on the ASX today. Meanwhile, the S&P/ASX 200 Materials sector (ASX:XMJ) closed trading 1.797% lower at 16422 on the ASX today (12 May).

Amcor is an ASX-listed company from the materials sector. The company mainly deals with the production of rigid and flexible packaging materials for various types of items such as food, beverage, pharmaceutical products, home and personal care items, etc. Amcor currently holds a market capitalisation of AU$26.8 billion.

Reece Limited (ASX:REH)

Meanwhile, the S&P/ASX 200 Industrials sector (ASX:XNJ) closed trading 1.784% lower at 6310.2 on the ASX today (12 May).

Reece is an ASX-listed industrial materials developer with a market capitalisation of AU$10.89 billion. The company primarily deals with the business of plumbing materials.

 Cochlear Limited (ASX:COH)

The shares of Cochlear Limited (ASX:COH) closed trading 2.7% lower at AU$208.49 per share on the ASX today (12 May). Approximately 153,000 shares of Cochlear were traded throughout the entire trading session on the ASX today.

The share price of Cochlear has fallen approximately by 2% on the ASX over the past 12 months. On the other hand, Cochlear’s year-to-date share price also fell over 6% on the ASX today. Meanwhile, the S&P/ASX 200 Health care sector (ASX:XHJ) closed, trading 1.759% lower at 40091.6 on the ASX today (12 May).

Cochlear is an ASX-listed healthcare equipment developer with a market capitalisation of AU$14.10 billion. The company primarily deals with the production of Cochlear implant systems.
