JB Hi-Fi Profits Rose As People Work From Home

JB Hi-Fi Limited (ASX:JBH) announced its results for FY20 posting underlying NPAT of $332.7 million, up 33.2% with customers spending more time working, learning and looking for entertainment at home. The highlights include:

  • Rise in total sales across the group including Good Guys and JB Hi-Fi Chains, of 11.6% to $7.9 billion
  • Underlying EBIT rose to $486.5 million, up 30.5%
  • Total online sales across the Group grew by 48.8% to $597.5 million, representing 7.5% of total sales
  • Underlying EPS increased to 289.6 cps, up 33.2% while final dividend increased by 76.5% to 90 cps and recording total FY20 dividend of 189 cps, up 33.1%.
