Viking Mines Ltd (ASX: VKA) has appointed Bevan Tarratt as a Non-Executive Director, effective 3 October 2023.

His experience in small-cap resource companies and equity capital markets will complement VKA’s existing board composition.

His experience and knowledge is expected to aid in advancing the Canegrass Battery Minerals project. Moreover, his experience in various commodities will assist in evaluating additional business development opportunities.

Rich experience of Bevan Tarratt

Mr. Tarratt is currently the Non-Executive Chair of ASX-listed Hartshead Resources NL. Previously, he served as the Non-Executive Chair at ASX-listed materials company Fenix Resources Ltd.

Mr. Tarratt has a deep understanding of the Western Australia and global resource space. He has an extensive background in the accounting industry, primarily in small-cap resource sector. Due to this background, he has been engaged in assessing corporate and project opportunities systematically.

Moreover, Mr. Tarratt has experience in equity capital markets, as he was associated with Paterson’s Securities Ltd and worked as partner of a venture capital company.
