Carbonxt Group Ltd (ASX: CG1) has brought on board Mr. Nicholas Andrews as an Independent Director to aid the US-focused cleantech company on the next exciting phase of its evolution. 

CG1 is an important juncture in its growth trajectory as construction activity is accelerating at its state-of-the-art activated carbon production facility in Kentucky, USA.

About Mr. Nicholas Andrews

Mr. Andrews has worked as an ASX executive in the global industrials sector for more than a decade.

He has been serving as Magontec Limited’s (ASX: MGL) Executive Chairman & CEO since 2009. MGL produces magnesium alloy ingots as well as manufacturers magnesium and titanium anodes. He worked with Advanced Magnesium Limited from 2007 to 2009.

Before his executive career, Mr. Andrews worked in the financial services sector across both investment management and investment banking. At UBS Investment Bank as a Managing Director, he oversaw the global distribution of equity products (New Zealand and Australia) from 1996 to 2005. During his tenure at LGT Investment Management, he as the Chief Investment Officer was responsible for investment portfolios for the Australasian region during 1989-1996.
