Ensign Group, Inc.(NASDAQ:ENSG) has expanded its operations with the addition of a nursing facility in Overland Park, Kansas, and seven more facilities across Colorado. The acquisitions, which took effect on September 1, 2024, include long-term, triple net leases.

The Kansas facility, Prairie Ridge Health and Rehabilitation, adds 102 beds to Ensign's network and enhances its presence in the state. This expansion aligns with the company's notable growth in Kansas over the past year.

In Colorado, Ensign's new facilities include Desert Willow Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pueblo with 106 beds, Junction Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Durango with 133 beds, Pelican Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center in Windsor with 104 beds, Riverbend Health and Rehabilitation Center in Loveland with 100 beds, Broadview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Greeley with 100 beds, Westlake Lodge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Greeley with 107 beds, and Linden Place Health and Rehabilitation Center in Longmont with 110 beds.

With these additions, Ensign’s portfolio now includes 323 healthcare operations across 14 states, and 29 of these also offer senior living services. The company, together with its subsidiaries such as Standard Bearer, manages 122 real estate properties.

Ensign's continued expansion reflects its focus on increasing its real estate and healthcare operations, aiming to enhance revenues and operational scale. The growth in the number of facilities is expected to drive higher occupancy rates and patient days, contributing to robust financial performance and growth.
