Currently, NFTs are static, but Altura aims to bring Smart NFTs to gaming. These NFTs have properties to evolve, such as a video game sword that becomes stronger with every use.

Altura claims the annual percentage yield of the ALU token, which can be staked, is around 13.5%. Users can also check out the ALU-BNB LP staking pool that gives 114.5% APY if they are not satisfied with the yield.

After its Penguine NFT game went live on Sunday, Altura said it would give away US$1000 in ALU tokens to those who provide feedback for the game. However, the token failed to rise.

The crypto market was up around 4.8% to US$1.92 trillion at around 12:31 pm ET on Tuesday.

The Altura token surged 20.06% to US$0.07896 at 10:46 am ET. It is up roughly 15% in the last seven days. But the token is trading nearly 47% down year-to-date.

Founder and lead developer Majd Hailat plans to expand Altura to different blockchains in 2022. He is also the host of the YouTube channel ‘Eager Money’, with over 15,000 subscribers.

What is Altura (ALU)?

Altura is a smart contract platform where developers can mint, distribute, and transact Smart NFTs or in-game items. Altura aims to provide gamers with an opportunity to own and control their in-game items and developers to integrate blockchain technology in video games. 

ALU is its native utility token for transactions on the Altura NFT marketplace. It is the governance of the platform.

The platform provides a tool kit to effortlessly integrate NFTs in third party applications without having web3 knowledge. NFTs are the in-game avatars created and sold on Altura. The company claims the toolkit allows users or developers to tap into the power of NFTs. 

The ALU token has a market cap of US$48.4 million. Its self-reported circulating supply is 611.05 million, and its total supply is 976,703,681.

ALU is available for purchase on PancakeSwap (V2), Gate.io, BitTurk, Biswap, and LATOKEN.

According to coinmarketcap.com, the BCH-BNB pair currently has the highest annual yield of 1065871.07% and a daily yield of 2920.19%. The ALU-BNB pair gives roughly 150% APY.
