US Markets: Broader indices in the United States traded in green - particularly, the S&P 500 index traded 38.72 points or 1.29 per cent higher at 3,040.82, Dow Jones Industrial Average Index expanded by 406.27 points or 1.62 per cent higher at 25,534.44, and the technology benchmark index Nasdaq Composite traded higher at 9,609.88, up by 117.15 points or 1.23 per cent against its previous day close (at the time of writing, before the U.S market close at 11:50 AM ET).
US News: Wall Street opened higher after posting worst one-day dive in around three months. Meanwhile, the coronavirus cases risen 2.02 million in US and deaths have increased to 113,820, as per Johns Hopkins University. Also, the Anti-China group is urging President Trump to block Chinese companies from US indices. Adjacently, the US import prices surged largest in May in more than a year. Among the gaining stocks, Hertz Global Holdings jumped 41.2 per cent as it is selling USD 1 billion of new shares to pay off debt. Southwest Airlines and American Airlines gained around 8.8 per cent and 14.9 per cent, respectively, with a modest recovery in travel demand. Dick's Sporting Goods rose over 6.0 per cent after resuming dividend program as sales strengthened. Among the decliner, Lululemon Athletica shed 2.9 per cent after missing its earnings guidance.

Top Performers*: American Airlines Group Inc (AAL), Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH), and United Airlines Holdings Inc (UAL) stocks jumped by 18.36 per cent, 17.66 per cent and 15.55 per cent, respectively.
Non Performers*: PVH Corp (PVH), ONEOK Inc (OKE) and Domino’s Pizza Inc (DPZ) shares decreased by 6.30 per cent, 5.89 per cent and 2.12 per cent, respectively.
NASDAQ Composite (IXIC)
Top Performers*: China Natural Resources Inc (CHNR), Ever Glory International Group (EVK) and Yunhong CTI Ltd (CTIB) shares expanded by 426.32 per cent, 206.52 per cent and 166.96 per cent, respectively.
Worst Performers*: Wah Fu Education Group Ltd (WAFU), Wins Finance Holdings Inc (WINS) and Tarena International Inc (TEDU) shares plunged by 27.55 per cent, 23.98 per cent and 22.59 per cent, respectively.

European Markets: The London’s broader equity benchmark index FTSE 100 traded at 28.48 points or 0.47 per cent higher at 6,105.18, the FTSE 250 index snapped at 103.67 points or 0.61 per cent higher at 17,077.34, and the FTSE All-Share Index ended 16.19 points or 0.48 per cent higher at 3,379.82, respectively. Another European index STOXX 600 ended up by 0.99 points or 0.28 per cent, at 354.06. Among other major European indices, DAX index closed the session at 11,949.28, down by 21.01 points or 0.18 per cent; CAC 40 index increased by 23.66 points or 0.49 per cent and ended the trading session at 4,839.26.
European News: London and European markets inched higher in choppy trading today as hammered cyclical shares gained today. Meanwhile, according to the Office for National Statistics, UK economy posted 20.4% monthly fall in GDP in April 2020 from March 2020, while there is a decline of 24.5 per cent, compared to April 2019. Also, as per the BOE (Bank of England) survey, UK public inflation touched a record low in May. Among the gaining stocks, Games Workshop Group surged around 10.6 per cent post raising its full-year guidance. IQE gained over 19.0 per cent after forecasting a 27 per cent jump in half-yearly revenue. 1Spatial PLC soared over 15.3 per cent post receiving USD 2.6 million contract from the US State of Michigan. Also, the energy stocks Royal Dutch Shell and BP surged around 2.0 per cent and 0.9 per cent, following the oil price surge.
