Ocado Group Plc (LON:OCDO) has been hit by another legal claim over patents by AutoStore, a Norwegian robotics company.

  • AutoStore has claimed that Ocado infringed patents and it is the inventor and rightful owner of certain patents that have been filed by Ocado.
  • Ocado, on its part, has dismissed the claim saying that AutoStore's claim had no merit and it would fight it.
  • The company has also stated that the inventions are their own and they will continue to defend it with whatever means.
  • On 10 November 2020, the stocks of the company declined by 1.10% from its previous closing, hovering at around GBX 2,258.00 at 08:33 AM GMT+1.
