Emily Skye is a successful Australian fitness prodigy, who has established a multi-million empire trough her fitness blogging, social media posts, and several business ventures.

Ms Skye is one of the pioneers in fitness blogging, as she started posting workout sessions and food plans way back in 2011. The 35-year-old now has tens of millions of followers on her Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts.

It is interesting how her husband Declan Redmond did not understand why Ms Skye spent so much time in front of the screen and wrote to some strangers about her fitness activities. Ms Skye often reminds of old times when she believed that her dreams would come true one day.

Eventually, they did.

What were Ms Skye’s beginnings in the fitness world?

Ms Skye did not always look as strong and confident as she is now. Before starting a successful fitness career, Ms Skye was a conventional model, who needed to live up to strict body standards that the industry requires.

The modelling life took a toll on Ms Skye, turning her into a depressed, self-conscious teenager, who remained unhealthy for years. At a time when she was not in the right frame of mind, fitness and social media came to her rescue. She transformed her passion for health and blogging into a world-famous empire.

Today, many people around the world find Ms Skye to be an actual role model due to her positivity, motivational posts, and confidence in her body image.

What made Ms Skye famous?

Ms Skye was both smart and lucky with starting her journey at a time when social media was a new, unexplored platform. There were not many regular bloggers, so it did not take too long to Ms Skye to make a profit through her passion.

Once she gained a wider audience, Ms Skye launched the Emily Skye Fit app, a gym-lifestyle online app that now has millions of women users across the globe. One of her Instagram captions says she is “all about women, for women”.

Emily Skye Fit app has most of its active users in the US, Australia, and the UK. For a starting price of A$7.5 a month (a quick cyber sale), one can access food plans, weekly grocery lists, full workout routines, both written and recorded, and motivational messages through the app.

The app has been widely recognised by several media outlets such as Forbes, BBC, Sunrise Today, HuffPost, Women’s Health, People, Daily Mail, and many others.
