As a result, the ABS reports that this is the biggest quarterly decline in sales volumes ever recorded.

How has the Online Boom affected Australian states?

More Australians could buy their essentials online while sitting at one place in a room. In addition, there was no risk of being infected with the coronavirus because there was no need to go outside. As a result, online shopping has flourished in Australia, while retail sales have decreased.
