Highlights
- Bomberland is a virtual reality gaming verse with BCOIN as its token and BHERO as NFTs
- The Bombcrypto coin can buy gamers BHERO NFTs, which means the token has a defined utility
- Axie Infinity’s AXS is a popular gaming cryptocurrency, but Bombcrypto has a long way to go
Gaming and blockchain are arguably one of the hottest combinations in the cryptocurrency universe. At a time when the aggregate market cap of all crypto assets tracked by CoinMarketCap seems to be subdued, investors are searching for options that can defy the odds.
Metaverse was a popular trend last year, possibly thanks to Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta announcement, and things have gotten hotter after Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard, a NASDAQ-listed developer of games.
In this light, games with native tokens make for an interesting watch. A few like Axie Infinity are already on investors’ radars, but there are a few hidden gems as well.
One such game is Bombcrypto that comes with non-fungible tokens (NFT) and a native coin.
What is Bombcrypto?
Here, Bomberland is a fictional world where players of the game can enter into combat. The project has an interesting premise, which has a few villainous characters and heroes that come to the rescue.
Inside the game, players can own Bombcrypto heroes or BHERO, which the project says are NFTs. The BHERO NFT can be purchased by users with the BCOIN token, which serves as the native coin.
Once purchased, these characters can engage in fights. Gamers can also pay a certain amount of the BCOIN token to join a fight against other BHERO holders. The winner takes all. The game also has BHOUSE NFTs for Bombcrypto heroes.

Bombcrypto (BCOIN) token
BCOIN is to the Bombcrypto game what AXS is to the Axie Infinity blockchain game. All payments by users inside Bomberland’s fictional universe must be made using BCOIN.
BCOIN, also referred to as the Bomber crypto, can be purchased on exchanges like PancakeSwap. Bombcrypto is a relatively new coin, and it sits quite low on the CoinMarketCap list. The game as well as the token were launched in September last year.

Bombcrypto’s price
The market cap of Bombcrypto is nearly US$4.6 million as of writing. It is not in the top 100 or even top 1,000 cryptos by market cap. But over the past 24 hours, Bombcrypto has gained over 100 per cent.
As of writing, the price was approximately US$0.5. The trading volume over the past 24 hours was up almost 300 per cent.
Bombcrypto’s price prediction
According to CoinMarketCap, Bombcrypto started with a price of under US$2. It peaked to US$8.5 by late November last year, but then it entered a deep bearish phase. The price hovered above US$1 in the month of January 2022, even touching US$4.
The price data indicates that Bombcrypto has manifested volatility, which ails even major gaming cryptos including Axie Infinity and Decentraland.

That said, Bombcrypto’s price in the medium-to-long term might be a product of the acceptance of the game. The BCOIN token has limited use, and it can buy BHERO NFTs.
If Bomberland can prove to be a fierce competitor in blockchain gaming, Bombcrypto may rise to US$10 by the end of 2022. And if BHERO NFTs make noise and trade for a higher price on NFT exchanges, BCOIN may break into the high market cap cryptos list by 2025.

Bottom line
Blockchain games with NFT underpinnings are popular. A few like Axie Infinity have a multi-billion-dollar market cap.
For Bombcrypto to shine as bright as Axie’s AXS token, the game would need to find more users. Only its users can create demand for the BCOIN token to purchase BHERO NFTs. Bombcrypto’s price may appreciate in the medium term if it establishes itself as a formidable participant in blockchain gaming.
