Who wouldn't want to rule their own universe like a king or queen? It's everyone's secret wish.

The "Metaverse" is a virtual world where you can live your dreams, travel to your favourite place, and able to meet your favourite celebrities or athletes.

However, whether the Metaverse is our future or not is too early to tell. But, for a start, we can see few major corporations develop the instruments and products that will enable you to travel in the virtual world.

Google

In the Metaverse, the tech behemoth reigns supreme. In the not-too-distant future, Google will be remembered for more than its internet revolution. Are you astounded to read this? Well. It's possible to be true.

The Google search engine has been bestowed upon you by bringing the entire world to your doorstep. Google provided people with the facility to access, share, and transmit information from any location just with an internet connection.

Google has now devoted itself to the Metaverse. The tech titan has created Google Cardboard and Augmented reality glasses for the meta world.

Google Cardboard is a virtual reality platform created by the search engine giant. Augmented Reality glasses are similar to ordinary glasses as they combine physical and virtual information in the user's view field.

Microsoft

I'm currently writing this post through Microsoft Word, and I owe it all to Bill Gates. Gates became a household name as a result of his revolutionary product "Microsoft."

Now, Gates is about to embark on an adventure in the Metaverse. The meta-product he's developed is Hololens mixed reality glasses.  Hololens is Microsoft's approach to augmented reality, termed "mixed reality" by the company, which comes with a slew of optical sensors. It can show information, merge with reality and imitate a virtual realm.

Facebook

Mark Zuckerberg disrupted social media with Facebook, allowing us to connect with anybody, anywhere.

Now he wants to take us on a journey from Facebook to the Meta World, where he hopes to connect us virtually with our beloved ones. Zuckerberg has made a $10-billion investment in the metaverse project.

Furthermore, Zuckerberg created a virtual reality headset as part of a metaverse effort. People may communicate their facial expressions and feelings to their avatars while engaging with others thanks to the VR headset.

Apple

The king of digital devices, Apple's elegant and user-friendly products have always captured the imagination of people.

Apple invented ARKit for the metaworld, which is a platform for building AR apps for iOS mobile devices such as iPhone and iPad.
