About

The Eumundi Group was incorporated in 1989 in Brisbane, Australia. The group has bifurcated its areas of business into two key verticals, i.e. Hotel Operations and Investment Property operations. The Hotel Vertical involves operations of Ashmore Tavern and Aspley Central Tavern. The property investment segment owns high end property assets in the most plush and high growth areas of Queensland and concentrates on leasing them to retail tenants. The properties in Eumundi?s kitty include Aspley investment property including Aspley Shopping Centre and Aspley Arcade Shopping Villages and Plough Inn.

History

Currently operating under the brand name of ?Eumundi Group?, the group was listed with the Australian Securities Exchange in the year 1990 as ?Eumundi Brewing Group?. The core business of the group was concentrated towards brewing along with marketing of a first-class beer brand and operations of the Imperial Hotel Eumundi. The initial start was turbulent and Eumundi sold its brewing operations in 1992, and the brewing plant was sold two years down the line in 1994. The Group expanded its retail business of investment properties much later in the March of 2004. The group saw multiple rise and falls with the acquisition and re-sale of multiple properties. Some prominent names that the Eumundi Group owns or once owned include Aspley Shopping Centre, Sunnybank Hills Shopping Centre, Imperial Hotel Eumundi, Banksia Beach Shopping Village, Aspley Arcade Shopping Villages, Bribe Harbor Shopping Village. Currently Eumundi Group operates its hospitality and hotels business with Gold Coast based Ashmore Tavern and by providing provisional operation services to North Brisbane based Aspley Central Tavern, which was previously referred to as the Publovers Tavern.
