Highlights

  • dorsaVi (DVL) secures exclusive global RRAM technology licence
  • RRAM set to power smarter, energy-efficient wearable devices
  • Strategic move supports next-gen platform ambitions within ASX300

In a strategic leap for its wearables roadmap, dorsaVi (ASX:DVL), a pioneer in human movement analytics, has obtained an exclusive worldwide licence for advanced resistive random-access memory (RRAM) technology from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The licensing deal opens doors to nine families of patents and intellectual property, setting the stage for transformative applications in next-generation wearable systems and edge computing.

Enhancing Wearable Tech Through RRAM Integration

The cutting-edge RRAM technology boasts ultra-fast read/write capabilities, high endurance, and low power consumption — essential traits for latency-sensitive and battery-reliant devices. dorsaVi aims to embed this memory tech into its AI-powered ViMove movement tracking platform, which is already used across clinical, sports, and workplace safety sectors. This integration is expected to significantly enhance sensor performance, data efficiency, and battery life.

RRAM’s non-volatile memory structure ensures data retention even without power, making it a natural fit for IoT environments, wearables, and spatial computing applications like AR, VR, and XR. When paired with legacy NAND flash, the hybrid storage solution enables a balance between speed, longevity, and energy efficiency.

A Next-Gen Leap for dorsaVi in the ASX300 Context

This initiative positions dorsaVi firmly within the innovation segment of the ASX300, as it prepares to deploy intelligent sensor systems capable of redefining performance across industries. CEO Andrew Ronchi emphasised that this development is more than a product upgrade—it marks a step-change in how wearable sensing technology is conceptualised and delivered.

The company envisions this move to drive better margins, lower production costs, and offer smarter capabilities. With its technology already capturing precision data outside traditional lab environments, the RRAM integration will help scale these capabilities further into mission-critical and consumer applications.

Capital Raise to Fuel Expansion

To accelerate this technological evolution, dorsaVi has announced a $2.43 million two-tranche capital raise. A total of 187.5 million shares will be issued at $0.013 apiece, marking an 18.75% discount to the last traded price and a 4.02% discount to the 15-day VWAP. The capital will support both the RRAM tech integration and ongoing operational needs.

This latest development reinforces dorsaVi’s innovation-led trajectory within the ASX300 landscape, with a strong focus on cutting-edge technology, scalable platforms, and long-term industry relevance.
