Highlights

  • FirstWave Cloud Technology joins forces with AWS and Corent.
  • Software to launch globally via Amazon marketplace.
  • Expanded access to over 300,000 active Amazon customers.

FirstWave Cloud Technology (ASX:FCT) has announced a strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Corent Technology to distribute its cybersecurity and network management software globally through Amazon’s marketplace. This move positions the company to tap into a vast customer base and elevate its standing within the broader S&P/ASX200 ecosystem.

Backed by a combined funding of $250,000 from AWS and Corent, the collaboration will allow FirstWave to integrate its software products directly into Amazon’s global infrastructure. With access to more than 300,000 monthly active Amazon customers and over 2,500 channel partners, this initiative is set to enhance visibility and scalability for FirstWave’s offerings.

Strategic Software Launch

The company’s key software products—Open-AudIT, NMIS, and CyberCision—are at the forefront of this deployment. Open-AudIT is already used by over 130,000 organisations worldwide and is known for its intelligent network scanning capabilities. It provides insights into software licensing, configuration changes, unauthorised devices, capacity utilisation, and hardware warranty statuses.

NMIS (Network Management Information System) supports fault, performance, and configuration management, offering vital data for IT planning. CyberCision, meanwhile, empowers service providers to deliver enterprise-grade cybersecurity solutions at scale, opening doors for new revenue streams.

Initial development for these tools has already begun, with FirstWave aiming to release the first wave of products on the marketplace within the month.

AI-Powered Growth Vision

According to FirstWave’s leadership, the partnership is more than just a distribution move—it's a leap toward monetising its extensive free-tier software user base. With over 150,000 current users of its no-cost offerings, the company sees a prime opportunity to offer AI-powered compliance upgrades via the Amazon marketplace.

The streamlined integration with AWS infrastructure ensures smoother deployment, provisioning, and billing experiences for customers. By removing traditional roadblocks in customer onboarding, FirstWave aims to accelerate its global reach and establish itself as a key player among ASX dividend stocks through recurring, scalable revenue.

This initiative aligns with the company's broader strategy of leveraging automation and AI for compliance management. With enhanced support and validation from major tech players, FirstWave is poised for its next growth chapter in the competitive cybersecurity space.
