Australian Vanadium (ASX:AVL) has reached a significant milestone by securing approval from the Western Australia Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its Gabanintha Vanadium Project. This project, an important part of the broader Australian Vanadium Project located in the Mid-West region of Western Australia, will include the establishment of an open-cut mine, a concentrator, and a processing plant located near Tenindewa.
The project’s approval is vital for the company’s plans to boost vanadium production, a key mineral used in energy storage and high-performance steel applications, contributing to Australia's green economy goals. In addition to the main facilities, the Gabanintha project will involve essential infrastructure development, including a bore field and a camp to support the workforce.
