Australian Rare Earths Limited (ASX:AR3) has shared a promising update on its Overland Uranium Project, revealing significant progress in expanding shallow uranium mineralisation. The latest drilling campaign has successfully defined a broader target area, highlighting the potential for both near-surface and deeper uranium deposits.
Strong Operational Momentum
Throughout 2025, Australian Rare Earths (AR3) has undertaken a rigorous drilling program, completing 68 drillholes and covering a total of 6,167 meters. Recent results confirm the presence of near-surface calcrete-hosted uranium mineralisation, which enhances the project's value by adding a complementary opportunity to its initially targeted deeper palaeochannel uranium systems.
The drilling activities uncovered areas with elevated gamma readings reaching up to 1,010 counts per second (cps), and pXRF uranium concentrations surpassing 50 parts per million (ppm). These findings signal a robust mineral system, reinforcing the project's potential as a multi-faceted uranium exploration asset.
