Highlights
- Aurum has intersected gold mineralisation outside the current BDT2 resource boundary.
- Drilling returned 0.61m at 47.60 g/t Au from 189.39m.
- The company plans 130,000m of drilling across two projects during CY2026.
- Aurum targets the next Boundiali resource update for the end of Q3 CY2026.
The final holes may be complete, but BDT2s gold story is still unfolding. Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) has intersected mineralisation beyond the current resource envelope at the Boundiali Gold Project, extending the deposit into previously untested areas. The results confirm that BDT2 remains open along strike and at depth, with the results set to contribute to the next major Boundiali Mineral Resource update.
The final batch comprises 10 diamond holes totalling 3,565.05m. Aurum drilled the holes on 100m line spacing to test the deposits limits at depth and along strike on the BD tenement, in which it holds an 80% interest.

High Grades Emerge Beyond the Boundary
The campaign produced a mixture of narrow, high-grade intercepts and broader zones of mineralisation.
- Hole DSDD0477 returned 0.61m at 47.60 g/t Au from 189.39m. The same hole also intersected 1m at 9.93 g/t Au from 367m and 11.50m at 0.69 g/t Au from 382m, including 1m at 5.47 g/t Au.
- Another result from DSDD0471 delivered 4.46m at 4.23 g/t Au from 90m, including 0.50m at 35.19 g/t Au. DSDD0461 encountered a broader interval of 39m at 0.79 g/t Au from 372m, including 3m at 5.76 g/t Au.
- Further drilling returned 3m at 4.02 g/t Au from 124m, including 2.30m at 5.16 g/t Au, as well as 15m at 0.73 g/t Au from 116m, including 1m at 4.20 g/t Au.
- True widths are estimated at approximately 60% to 85% of the reported downhole lengths.
An Underexplored Corridor Keeps Expanding
BDT2 lies within an underexplored mineralised corridor measuring approximately 13km by 3km. Gold mineralisation is hosted within a thick, northsouth-trending sandstone unit positioned between hanging-wall and footwall volcano-sedimentary rocks.
The newly identified mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth. Aurum is planning follow-up drilling outside the current resource, while its drill rigs have moved to deposits on the neighbouring BST and BM tenements.
The company also plans scout drilling across the BD, BM and BST tenements to test targets identified through soil anomalies and geological mapping.
Resource Growth Leads into Development Work
Aurum-owned 16 diamond rigs are currently operating to drive planned 130,000m of drilling during CY2026. This includes 100,000m at the 3.22Moz Boundiali Gold Project and 30,000m at the 1.16Moz Napi Gold Project.
The BDT2 results will feed directly into the next major Boundiali Mineral Resource update, targeted for the end of Q3 CY2026. Results from the CY2026 drilling and the pre-feasibility study will also be incorporated into a Definitive Feasibility Study expected in late CY2026.
Aurum holds combined group gold resources of 4.4Moz across Boundiali and Napi. The company reported unaudited cash of AUD 54.6 million as at 30 June 2026 to advance drilling, studies and permitting activities.
Shares of AUE traded at AUD 0.48 on 27 July 2026.
