The program, spanning five years, is set to begin in the first quarter of next year and is expected to reach approximately 260,000 women. This large-scale effort is part of an ambitious plan to address cervical cancer detection in communities with limited healthcare infrastructure.
The initiative is supported by a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between TruScreen Group, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Health Association, and Gorton Health Services. This partnership underscores the collaboration necessary to introduce advanced medical technologies to underserved regions. The company’s real-time, non-invasive cervical cancer screening technology has been chosen for its ability to deliver efficient and reliable results without requiring extensive pathology infrastructure.
TruScreen’s device employs a single-use probe connected to a handheld unit.
