Pro Medicus (ASX:PME) has signed a significant $30m agreement with Duly Health and Care (DHC), the Midwest USA's largest independent physician-directed medical group. This partnership marks a strategic move to enhance healthcare imaging technology across DHC’s extensive network. The seven-year contract centers on the deployment of Pro Medicus’ cutting-edge Visage 7 Enterprise Imaging Platform.
Duly Health and Care operates an expansive healthcare network, with over 40 radiologists, 1,000 physicians, and 150 outpatient clinics. This agreement ensures the integration of Visage 7 across all its facilities. The platform, renowned for its cloud-engineered technology, is designed to offer fast image processing, scalable cloud-based storage, and streamlined workflow management.
Transition to Advanced Imaging
The Visage 7 platform offers advanced tools such as the Visage 7 Viewer, Open Archive, and Workflow modules. These tools will replace DHC’s legacy Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and vendor-neutral archives. This transition is expected to modernize the healthcare group’s imaging capabilities, enabling seamless management of large datasets and enhancing operational efficiency.
Implementation and Key Features
The implementation process for Visage 7 is set to commence immediately, with a planned go-live date in the second quarter of 2025. This timeline reflects Pro Medicus’ commitment to delivering timely and efficient technology solutions. Visage 7’s cloud-based architecture enables rapid and secure access to imaging data, allowing healthcare providers to improve diagnostics and patient outcomes significantly.
The platform also integrates features such as ultra-fast image processing and scalable storage, catering to the increasing demands of modern healthcare practices. Its flexible design supports the growing need for cloud-based medical imaging in complex multi-specialty environments.
