Sectors SND Caters To

For around seven decades, the Company has effectively met all the industry needs for water, fuel and chemicals storage. SND is involved in designing, building and maintaining bulk storage and associated facilities for public and private enterprises in varied sectors including aviation, mining and mineral processing, defence, oil & gas, and water / wastewater sectors.  

Besides these industries, the Company undertakes projects involving the rehabilitation and repair of bridges, wharves and jetties, and design and construction of rail bridges and roads, thereby playing an integral role in creating and maintaining the Australian transport infrastructure.

The Company boasts precast facilities, which deliver beams, planks and super-tees to major road and rail development projects. Additionally, the Company caters to its clients with waterproofing, concrete remediation, coatings, and other specialised asset services. Few of the clients that SND has recently onboarded for its asset services are Rio Tinto Yarwun, BP Bulwer Island, Australian Paper Mill (Nippon Paper Group) and Lendlease Building Pty Limited.

Energy & Industrial

SND is a renowned name amid a wide range of heavy industries. Its services in this regard are related to production and processing of aluminium, nickel, sulphuric acid, fertilisers and lubricants, to name a few. And, services are primarily focussed on bulk storage of solids and liquids along with civil works, mechanical and piping.

On the maintenance side, SND offers all types of welding and mechanical work, abrasive blasting, protective coatings, waterproofing and grouting.

Oil & Gas

Right from upstream production, refining, and downstream storage and distribution of refined product, SND has been catering to this sector covering greenfield and brownfield projects, from full EPC of new terminals to long-term service agreements.

Mining Process

Water

For the water sector, the Company is engaged in providing tank only construction along with complete turnkey installations. It works on projects related to electrical, control, instrumentation and telemetry, and related buildings, multiple tanks, piping and pump stations, and civil access works.

Defence

Infrastructure

With an experience of around 50 years in the infrastructure sector, Saunders Civilbuild caters to varied project needs of local government, state authorities, major mining and private sector clients. It is focused on projects covering the construction, maintenance and upgrade of wharves, road and rail bridges, and jetties.

For major road and rail projects, its precast facility in Newcastle supplies planks, girders and super-T’s.
