Platina Resources Limited (ASX: PGM) has kicked off phase 2 drilling at Western Australia-based Brimstone gold project.
Brimstone is close to the Penny’s Find gold deposit and the Kanowna Belle gold mine.
The 3,500m reverse circulation (RC) drill campaign will test priority targets, including Old Camp, Brandy, and Garibaldi.
At the nearby Garibaldi prospect, shallow and close space drilling was conducted further to the east; apart from this, no follow-up work has been undertaken through a systematic exploration campaign.
The drilling program follows the maiden ~4,300m air core drilling campaign, which discovered a strongly mineralised structure at the Brandy prospect.

High-Grade Potential of Priority Targets
Corey Nolan, Managing Director of Platina, mentioned that the new drilling program is focused below the shallow aircore anomalies with the intent to define higher-grade and broader intersections noted at the Penny’s Find gold deposit to the south or at Garibaldi prospect.
