Mr. Don Smith is a seasoned geologist and entrepreneur with over 20 years in the mining industry. He holds significant experience across exploration, development, operation and as a consultant for a junior player to multinational behemoths with operations in over 10 countries and across different commodities, including precious, base metals and energy minerals.

Mr. Smith’s corporate experience includes project acquisition, financing and development and company management.  He has been the founding director of numerous private and publicly traded resource companies such as Platypus Resources (ASX:PLP) and Alderan Resources (ASX:AL8). Furthermore, he is involved with multiple start-ups and also consults with the industry.

On the educational front, he holds a Bachelor of Science from Newcastle University and a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business. He is a member of the prestigious Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.

Mr. Owen Burchell is a seasoned mining engineer with over 20 years of technical, operations and corporate experience across some of the biggest mining names including Rio Tinto, BHP and Barrick Gold executing numerous successful start-ups, closures and operational turnaround projects.

Currently, he also serves as a director of multiple private resource companies and leverages his extensive industry knowledge on multiple resource projects. Mr Burchell holds several post graduate qualifications from the renowned West Australian School of Mines and also holds the First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency. He is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (FAusIMM).
